Before you switch

Bring what matters.

Check your everyday essentials first. Rooted One is in development; carrier, app and customer-release compatibility are still being confirmed.

Check your essential apps ↗
01 / Check the fit

Your number. Your everyday tools.

Confirm your exact carrier plan and SIM support before moving your number. Check the apps you rely on, including sign-in and paid-account access. Keep your old phone available until those tasks work.

02 / Move supported data

A careful move.

Contacts
Export a vCard (.vcf) from your existing address book on another device. Transfer the file to the phone and review it in Import before adding contacts.
Calendar
Import a calendar (.ics) file. This is a copy, not ongoing Google or Outlook sync; recurring events may be incomplete.
Messages and photos
There is no one-step iPhone or Android migration. A previous Rooted backup can restore supported data through a separate review. Other transfers and app histories need their own supported path.
App accounts
Sign in again within supported apps. Passwords, purchases and third-party subscriptions do not transfer through Rooted Import.
03 / Check messaging

Stay reachable.

If you are leaving an iPhone, review iMessage registration for your number. For Android, review your previous messaging service’s migration instructions. Confirm calls, SMS and supported picture/group messaging with a trusted contact before relying on the new phone.

RCS, FaceTime, Android Auto and tap-to-pay are not confirmed supported features for the Rooted customer release.

04 / Make it yours

Set up. Then check.

On the phone, Your phone brings together connection, default apps, import, account and backup settings. A selected default app does not prove carrier service. Test directions, music, essential sign-ins and the everyday tasks you need.

SafeLinks supports selected tasks; it does not provide unrestricted browsing. Unsupported links may need another device.

05 / Keep a way back

Protect what you keep.

Review what your backup contains and confirm it completed. Keep a portable backup and its password separately. Other apps may require separate backups and sign-in after a restore.
